1. Product IntroductionThe XZG model drum-type hydraulic pulper is a pulping equipment used in the waste paper pulping process within the pulp and paper industry, particularly suitable for the pulping of unselected waste paper raw materials. This machine features both a pulping zone and a screening zone, allowing it to complete both pulping and screening processes in a single operation. Because the pulping process does not involve strong cutting, it retains the original length and strength of the waste paper fibers well, facilitating the discharge of more impurities and significantly reducing the burden on subsequent equipment for impurity removal. By pulping under high consistency conditions, processing time is shortened, making it a superior waste paper pulping equipment and an upgraded product compared to traditional hydraulic pulpers.

2. Working PrincipleWaste paper is fed into the feeding hopper via a conveyor, where it is introduced into the drum-type hydraulic pulping area along with water and chemical agents, moistening the waste paper to a concentration of 14-18%. The slightly inclined drum allows the waste paper to gradually move forward under gravity, while the scraper on the inner wall of the drum continually lifts the waste paper and drops it onto the hard drum wall at a certain height. The shear and friction forces cause minimal damage to the paper fibers, effectively preserving their original length and strength, while impurities such as films, plastics, fabrics, wet-strength papers, and adhesive tapes do not get broken and are directed into the screening area. The sprayed water above the screening area dilutes the pulp to a concentration of 3-4%, allowing good pulp to pass through the screen holes into the pulp pool, while impurities continue to move forward and are completely expelled through the discharge outlet. The drum-type hydraulic pulper alters the traditional method of high-speed rotating impellers and blades used in conventional hydraulic pulpers, instead providing a gentle dissipation. Traditional hydraulic pulpers tend to crush and mix impurities into the pulp, making subsequent processes challenging; however, this machine efficiently expels a significant amount of impurities, reducing the load on subsequent equipment. It is particularly suitable for processing challenging waste paper types such as household and office waste paper. The slow passage of pulp through the screen holes minimizes the possibility of unwanted debris entering the pulp pool, while allowing for better quality pulp. The gentle pulping retains the original length and strength of the fibers.Although waste debris can block the screen holes, the sprayed water moves with the rotation of the drum, eliminating the need for energy expenditure on unnecessary agitation and the cutting of fiber impurities, thus achieving a remarkable processing effect.
