In order to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and promote the in-depth integration of theory and practice, recently, students from the 2022 Environmental Engineering program at Shandong University of Science and Technology visited Shandong Xuri Dong Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. for a study tour. The purpose of this activity is to allow students to have a closer experience of the production and operation modes of environmental protection companies, and to enhance their understanding and application of professional knowledge. Mr. Xu Yanhai, the Deputy General Manager of our company, provided a detailed introduction to the company's development history, business scope, and outstanding achievements in the field of environmental protection. Subsequently, under Mr. Xu's guidance, students toured the company's production workshops, finished product workshops, and processing workshops.

Walking into the production workshop, you will be greeted by an orderly production process and advanced production equipment. Manager Xu explained as he walked, from the screening and processing of raw materials to the assembly and commissioning of products, every link was introduced in detail. He showed the students how the company ensures that every product meets industry-leading standards through strict quality control and efficient production management. The students listened carefully, raised questions from time to time, and Manager Xu patiently answered them, and the on-site interaction was frequent and the learning atmosphere was strong.

In the finished product workshop, various environmental protection devices are neatly displayed, and these products, which embody technology and innovation, have greatly broadened the students' horizons. Manager Xu elaborated on the application effects and significant advantages of these devices in environmental protection fields such as wastewater treatment and waste gas purification, using actual company cases to highlight the importance of environmental protection products in improving the ecological environment. Finally, the students visited the processing workshop. Here, the machines roared, and workers skillfully operated various processing equipment for cutting, grinding, and welding components. Manager Xu introduced the key techniques and innovations in the processing technology, emphasizing the importance of the spirit of craftsmanship in the manufacturing of environmental products. The students expressed that through on-site observation, they have gained a more intuitive and profound understanding of the theoretical knowledge learned in textbooks.

This visit and learning activity not only provides a solid practical learning platform for students of Environmental Engineering at Shandong University of Science and Technology, but also lays a strong foundation for in-depth cooperation between the university and enterprises in talent development and technological innovation.
