1. Product IntroductionThe screw tearing machine is a key piece of equipment in the APMP process, designed to relieve wood chips through extrusion, facilitating the impregnation and absorption of chemical solutions as well as the pulping reaction.

2. Structural FeaturesThe main body of the screw tearing machine consists of a cylindrical body and a tapered screw shaft. The cylindrical body is composed of an inner and outer double-layer composite mesh; the inner mesh serves the purpose of filtering water, while the outer thick mesh provides both filtration and structural reinforcement. The outer diameter of the tapered screw remains constant, while the inner diameter gradually increases. The screw shaft is supported as a single-end cantilever, forming a continuous closed compression space between the cylindrical body and the tapered screw shaft.

3. Working PrincipleAfter steaming, the wood chips are softened and enter the screw tearing machine. Due to the advancement of the tapered screw, the discharge volume gradually decreases, causing the wood chips to be compressed. The original structural organization of the wood chips is destroyed, and the orderly structure becomes loose, crushed, and deformed into wood fiber. This material is highly compressed into a dense mass of wood fibers for output, facilitating the complete absorption of chemical solutions in the impregnation stage and subsequent pulping bleaching reactions. At the discharge outlet, chemicals are sprayed onto the material through a dosing ring, and the material is pushed into the impregnator by the spiral blades at the shaft end for thorough impregnation with the chemical solution. The wood chip tearing machine is a product developed and validated by our company based on years of practical experience, possessing independent intellectual property rights. During the extrusion dewatering process, the wood chips are crushed and separated into fibers, achieving a fiber separation rate of over 85% and increasing the specific surface area by more than ten times. It is primarily used in the APMP and CTMP pulping systems.
